Job description

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a dynamic and fast-growing joint venture between Raytheon and Rafael, is seeking a results-driven Program Integrator to support execution of major defense programs, most notably the Iron Dome AUR production, Marine Corp Medium Range Intercept (MRIC) and future Air Defense systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and analyzing aggregated data points from various programs within R2S, program integration coordination, control, and engagement within the various program levels and functional partners and advocating various program management plans. Additionally, this role is responsible for PM best practices and communicating the vision of R2S to ensure continuity across programs and leadership.

U.S. Citizenship is required as this position needs a U.S. Security Clearance (SECRET or higher).

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the day-to-day program execution cadence (battle rhythm) of the programs, i.e., risk review boards, program management reviews, failure review boards, configuration control boards, etc.
  • Preparing, revising, updating, and monitoring required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Corporate and Business policies and procedures.
  • Supporting program execution on contractual commitments, including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
  • Identify and implement key program metrics and actions by working collaboratively with the program managers within R2S.
  • Act as Control Account Manager for contract PMO CLINs, as assigned.
  • Act as program Risk and Opportunity Manager, as assigned.
  • Display and demonstrate strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills to enable interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and track R2S aggregated action items to ensure timely closure of actions, including the preparation and management of all required product lifecycle artifacts and reviews.
  • Coordinate program data, information, and preparation for customer engagements and visits, as required at the R2S level.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with members of the R2S, and program leadership as necessary to achieve business and reporting requirements.
  • Expected to travel (approximately 25%) for offsites and program-related activities

· Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with financial analysis tools and/or digital technology tools to maximize efficiency in project management and collaboration in a matrixed environment
  • Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Action item prioritization/tracking with ability to ensure action owners are proactively managing effort
  • Proven ability in process creation and/or improvement
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership
  • An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Earned Value Certification, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience supporting development, production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry, including balancing cost, schedule, and technical constraints to achieve positive program outcomes.
  • Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals, and/or synthesizing Gate Packages for Management Reviews, across cross-functional teams.
  • Product lifecycle management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB)

Work Location: Remote

Travel: 25% mainly within the United States to the headquarters office in Arlington, VA.

Why R2S? If you have a passion for learning and entrepreneurial spirit, this is the place for you. The R2S team is in expansion and growth mode, so if you enjoy a highly collaborative environment and not being siloed in a collective effort to see mission success, R2S is the place for you. We offer flexible scheduling (9/80 work schedule), a generous leave package with holiday shutdown, and other competitive benefits. At R2S, you can grow personally and professionally through energizing work in a mission focused environment where expanding your professional knowledge is encouraged.
