Creating Peace of Mind by Pioneering Safety and Security

Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to own and deliver large-scale, end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend systems. You’ll drive architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams, and ensure our cloud-based services are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment and take ownership from concept through production.

Hybrid: At Allegion, we are driven by a bold vision: redefining safety while empowering our employees to thrive. When you join our team, you become part of a culture that values innovation, purpose, and excellence. This role offers the benefits of our dynamic hybrid work model—combining in-person collaboration for meaningful moments with the flexibility of remote work. Since hybrid arrangements can vary based on the needs of the individual, team, and business, your talent acquisition partner will provide specific hybrid details about this role.

We are committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance and building meaningful connections, ensuring you have the tools, resources, and support needed to excel in any environment. Together, we’ll unlock your potential and create a lasting impact.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex features across the full stack, from user interfaces to services and data stores
  • Architect scalable, robust solutions; participate in architecture reviews, and contribute to the evolution of our software stack
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code with strong unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, champion quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Expected to train other professionals and provide technical leadership on methods and processes within their discipline
  • Collaborate with product managers, other functional leads, technical managers, and teams to define and assign technical work.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience (or equivalent), with a track record of delivering large-scale software
  • Strong proficiency in Angular and C#/.NET
  • Deep experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and RESTful services; solid understanding of microservices patterns
  • Solid experience building cloud-based production systems (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure) and implementing scalable architectures
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and designing for performance and reliability.
  • Proficiency with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure management
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor others, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical perspective and status to ensure shared understanding both upwards and downwards in the organization
  • Bachelor's degree (Informatics or Computer Science preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment while providing consistent application lifecycle management
