We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the manager for industry affairs, you will be partnering closely with Industry groups, Public Relations, Government Relations, and Public Policy and drive a comprehensive and proactive external engagement strategy to drive a positive narrative with customers, policymakers, regulators, and brand owners leading to better outcomes across our TikTok Shop ecosystem, establishing and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across the industry, which will lead to greater outcomes as evidenced by similar strategies deployed by other e-commerce marketplaces (.

Amazon, eBay). We will develop relationships and advocacy with key leaders within trade associations, brands, and government agencies.

What You'll Do- Collaborate internally for consistent external processes.- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

  • Research and contribute to policy development.- Integrate regulatory considerations into business strategies.- Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, and collaborate closely with legal and compliance teams.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Public Relations, Communications, Politics & Economics, Marketing, or related field.

  • 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, government relations, brand cooperation or a related field.- In-depth knowledge of United States E-commerce regulations and standards.
  • Manage industry regulations in a complex business environment, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Demonstrated past success working in a matrix environment and ability to influence key stakeholders.
