This position will assistance in the operation of all Union Construction Building Trade and Industrial Apprenticeship Programs in the Central Indiana Service Area.
Additionally, provides general support and assistance to the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Sciences.
- Maintain Ivy Tech’s Building Trades apprentice and journeyperson database
- Build and maintain all (300+) building trades apprentice and journeyperson classes each term
- Maintain industrial enrollment spreadsheets, create reports, format, locate rooms and set class time
- Prepare diplomas / graduation packets used for all graduation banquets
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word, and have knowledge of Access.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to work as a team member and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Be able to process information quickly and accurately in light of known priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Banner
- Demonstrate considerable patience and diplomacy.
