This team is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the moon and beyond. Advanced Space is a rapidly growing, privately held business that operates with core values that reinforce each other : we are customer-obsessed and mission-focused; when we see it, we solve it; we are one team, motivated by our vision; and we bring technical excellence and inexhaustible curiosity. • The ability to communicate with engineers and customers who have a different background and different expertise than you.

  • Experience with  AI / ML  or  autonomous systems .
  • Familiarity with  testing practices  such as unit tests, fuzzing, TDD, etc.
  • A focus on the  end-user experience .
  • A deep passion for space exploration.
  • Education and Experience :

  • A  bachelor's degree  or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5-8 years of experience with spacecraft software systems, system architecture and / or mission control systems
  • Demonstrated programming experience in a professional, personal, and / or academic environment.
  • Eligibility requirements

  • Ability to work in the Westminster, CO office 3-5 days / week
  • Applicants must be a US Person (citizen or Green Card Holder / permanent resident, or protected individual)
