We’re seeking a Chemical Sample Processor to work at a premier Crop Protection Discovery & Development company in Indianapolis, IN. This opportunity could be the one you’ve been looking for.

Shift and Pay
1st shift MON-FRI 8am-4.30pm* at $22/hr
*plus mandatory overtime as needed (5hrs+/week)

What’s a typical day as a Chemical Sample Processor? You’ll be:
• Processing chemical sample requests (liquid & powder), locating and selecting research materials to fulfill orders
• Handling sample packing and shipping activities in compliance with regulations.
• Restocking research materials in the warehouse inventory.
• This is a physical job where you will be handling 2.5 GAL jugs in hooded work stations. The sash must be kept low to prevent chemical exposure. This might cause stress on the shoulders and back.
During OFF-PEAK times in the year, you will also be
• Receiving incoming chemical materials, registering and cataloging them in the system
• Properly sorting and storing chemicals in their corresponding location in the storage area

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are comfortable with handling chemicals (liquid & powder).
• Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6-12 months of relevant lab experience.
• Have experience working with inventories, experience with chemicals preferred.
• Skilled in the safe and effective use of standard laboratory equipment.
• Are skilled with order process software systems/computer software.
• Have experience and knowledge of safe chemical handling practices and decanting processes.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple concurrent activities under tight time constraints.
