Application Developer - System I
CTG is seeking to fill an application developer - system I opening for our premier client in Phoenix, Arizona. Location : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 10 months Designs and develops solutions on the system i (AS / 400i (AS / 400) environment, utilizing expertise in a wide range of AS / 400 products, including RPG, COBOL / 400, SYNON, and new age offerings on the platform. Executes proof-of-concepts (POCs) and develops solution designs and estimates for system i (AS / 400) platform projects.
Required skills : + AS400 developer with a solid background in RPG IV, CL, DB2, and IBM iSeries technologies. + The candidate should bring deep experience in legacy system enhancement, modernization initiatives, and seamless integration with modern platforms. + This role is critical for maintaining and improving mission-critical systems in finance, manufacturing, or supply chain domains. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
