POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program Coordinator assists the Club Director in the planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of quality and developmentally appropriate programs, activities, services, and special events for members. This position collaborates with the Club Director to oversee programs and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Delivery, Teen Engagement, Behavior Management, and Safety
- Supports the delivery and continuous improvement of developmentally appropriate programs and activities for teens.
- Demonstrates effective teen supervision and behavior management skills.
- Engages members through facilitation and active participation in program activities.
- Assists in coordinating teen programming and extended-hour operations.
- Maintains program spaces, materials, and equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
Partnerships, Family Engagement, and Collaboration
- Maintains accurate membership, registration, program records, and other documentation required by the Club.
- Participates in various program evaluation and outcome measurement efforts, including the Annual Member Survey.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in carrying out assigned program responsibilities.
Program Administration, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement
- Secure and maintain records, materials, equipment, and other resources belonging to the membership area.
- Participate in supervision sessions and professional development opportunities as approved, provided, or directed.
Staff Support, Supervision, and Professional Development
- Assists the Club Director in the orientation, training, and supervision of staff, junior staff, and volunteers.
- Actively engages in supervision, feedback, and professional development activities.
- Performs other related duties as specified by the Club Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience developing curriculum and providing classes, programs, or activities for teens.
- Knowledge of youth and teen development principles.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and effectively communicate with teens and families from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred or Ideal
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human services, youth development, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience.
TRAVEL
Travel between BGCB sites and to activities as needed.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary - $24/hour - $29.71/hour - commensurate with experience and a great work environment
