Essential functions (job duties) : The Program Coordinator for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) in providing students with specialized knowledge, skills and experience to develop and launch startup ventures or social impact ventures, or work at a startup within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This position is supported by a JPMorgan Chase grant for a period of two years. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for two major new initiatives : a Student Industry Mentorship Program and an Entrepreneur's Showcase. Additionally, this individual will support the general operations of the Belinsky Entrepreneurship Learning Laboratory (BELL), associated events and programming.
Qualifications : Desirable education and experience : Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field. Experience in program coordination, event planning, or student services. Interest in or familiarity with the Detroit startup ecosystem, venture capital, or entrepreneurship is highly preferred. Experience working with diverse student populations.
