Job descriptionCoordinates proposal development activities in collaboration with the Bids and other department teams. Oversees assigned proposal activities, including managing proposal schedules and deadlines, and monitoring the progress of the proposal and status after submission. Analyzes RFP / bid requirements against the proposal outline to ensure compliant response structure and format. Develops any required custom templates and / or formats. Lays out proposals across volumes (format, font, consistency) and creates actual volumes (electronic, paper form). Ensures compliance with RFP and template requirements, and proper placement of graphics. Tracks the fulfillment of all proposal requirements from other department teams. Conducts regular proposal progress status meetings and maintain the proposal schedule. Facilitates and coordinate proposal team communications for assigned projects. Coordinates proposal reviews and prepares all proposal materials for the reviews. Prepares detailed delivery plans and checklists and coordinates final printing, electronic copy, assembly, and shipping. Maintains a working knowledge of Imagine Learning’s offerings including software and services. Other duties as required. Bachelor’s degree in English and 3-5 years’ experience in the education industry, preferably middle school / high school and / or related experience working with other vendors who provide similar products and services. Strong knowledge of proposal development and management; ability to read and understand technical bid documentation. Familiarity with online or virtual education programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent proofreading, editing, and document formatting skills. Ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Bachelor’s degree in x and x years of x experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience. The Proposal Specialist is a position which supports the bids department in the completion of written bid responses, content documents and other paperwork related to bids, grants, state approvals and sales requests. The Proposal Specialist works on projects as assigned in response to solicitations, rubrics, or other items. This position requires technical writing and time management skills in order to meet project deadlines.
- Position Type : This is a regular, full-time position.
- Compensation : Base pay is anticipated to be between $55,574and $70,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive / commission / annual bonus pay based on individual and / or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education / certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
- Location : In this US-based position your location will be hybrid in our Tempe office in Arizona.
