Job description

CPQ Program Manager

This role has been designed as "Onsite" with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. We help companies connect, protect, analyze, and act on their data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so they can turn insights into outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today's complex world. Our culture thrives on finding new and better ways to accelerate what's next. We know varied backgrounds are valued and succeed here. We have the flexibility to manage our work and personal needs. We make bold moves, together, and are a force for good. If you are looking to stretch and grow your career our culture will embrace you. Open up opportunities with HPE.

We are seeking a strategic Functional Architect to serve as the primary bridge between Product Management, Business Stakeholders, and IT. This role is responsible for leading the functional design and roadmap that enables New Product Introduction (NPI) and complex Quote to Cash strategies across our Go-To-Market systems, including Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ, and SAP ERP.

The ideal candidate will move beyond standard process maintenance to proactively influence how new products, software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, and hardware bundles are structured and sold. You will ensure that as Product Management innovates, our "Quote to Cash" ecosystem is designed to support rapid launches, scalable growth, and a seamless seller experience.

Responsibilities:

  • NPI Strategy & Execution: Act as the lead Sales Ops consultant for Product Management during the NPI process. Influence product modeling and SKU health to ensure new offerings are compatible with our CPQ and ERP architecture.
  • Commercialization Partnership: Partner closely with Product Management and Marketing to translate commercial requirements (configuration modeling, subscription terms, bundling logic) into scalable functional designs.
  • Architectural Roadmapping: Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to deliver short-term and long-term roadmaps that align our GTM technology with the evolving product portfolio and the "Future of Selling" vision.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop end-to-end process artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for new product launches, logic flow charts for CPQ configuration, and solution designs for automated fulfillment.
  • Launch Readiness & Change Management: Lead the rollout of new product capabilities within the sales tools, providing training and change management to ensure Sales and System Engineering teams can effectively quote and sell new offerings

Education and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing business processes and solutions.
  • BA/BS with emphasis in a related field (Information Systems Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science).
  • Experience designing end-to-end processes that scale, particularly with respect to order management and installed base management.
  • Extensive knowledge of business applications to support quote-to-invoice processes - Salesforce CRM, Oracle CPQ and SAP ERP.
  • Comfortable with SaaS productivity tools such as GSuite, JIRA, SmartSheet, Visio, Slack, etc.
  • Experience with EDI and business applications integration tools is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Understanding of Project management principles and concepts.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience designing and developing business-wide sales operations support systems and solutions
  • Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive expertise in business and sales operations processes and their application to business-wide systems
  • Evaluating, selecting, and creating forms of forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales and operational resources and activities.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for quality systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales operations architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.

What We Can Offer You:

Health & Wellbeing

We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
