Job Summary:

QuartzBio (www.quartz.bio) is a data and information management Software as a Service (SaaS) company that transforms sample and biomarker data to accelerate and power drug development. Our proprietary AI-powered, Biomarker Intelligence Platform, enables precision medicine at scale.

As a Technical Project Manager with QuartzBio, you will manage the implementation of SaaS products for customer engagements. This position requires a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and a proven track record of successfully delivering SaaS solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment and Implementation: Lead the deployment of SaaS products for QuartzBio customers, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and workflows through requirements gathering, configuration, and testing. Collaborate with technical teams and customer stakeholders to resolve any technical issues during implementation.
  • Project Planning: Lead the effort for requirements gathering for customer engagements. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedule outlining tasks, timelines, and dependencies using Smartsheet.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor and manage project issues using Smartsheets, JIRA, Slack and Freshdesk (product support) software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor project scope, goals, and deliverables. Proactively monitor project progress according to agreed-upon project timelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, escalating appropriately and assisting with develop of mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for QuartzBio customers. Facilitate clear communication among internal non-technical and technical team members, client stakeholders, and leadership. Provide regular project status updates, addressing concerns and ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Product Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of SaaS products and technologies.
    Work closely with development and product support teams to ensure all requirements align with project objectives.
  • Documentation: Create and accurately maintain detailed project documentation including risk/issue, action item, and financial trackers, meeting agendas and minutes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, project planning or product development.
  • 3 years of experience in project management with SaaS or PaaS solutions.
  • Proven experience managing technical projects, specifically SaaS implementations.
  • Experience with managing projects with deployments in cloud-based environments such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with project management tools, with Smartsheets experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance technical and business considerations for effective project delivery.
  • Experience working in the life sciences industry, with preferred experience working in the R&D space for clinical drug development with pharma or biotech customers.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or in a scaling division within a larger organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.Reasonable estimate of the current range$116,800—$175,200 USD
