Job description
A company is looking for an Intake Specialist who will manage patient referrals and documentation in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes, meeting productivity and quality standards
Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to ensure appropriate inventory and services are provided
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
One year of relevant work experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or related fields
Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
Familiarity with payer guidelines and clinical documentation
Ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems
