Job description

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and organized individual interested in developing marketing and client engagement skills within the travel industry.

The Marketing Coordinator will learn about destinations, vacation experiences, travel suppliers, and client needs while helping develop connections with prospective travelers and supporting marketing activities designed to build awareness and client relationships.

This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys communicating with people, creating engaging content, developing new ideas, and learning how marketing can help grow a client-focused travel business.

Previous travel industry experience is not required. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing marketing activities to connect with prospective travelers
  • Help create engaging travel-related content for social media and other communication channels
  • Research destinations, travel experiences, and current travel interests
  • Develop ideas for reaching and engaging potential clients
  • Assist with maintaining communication with prospective and existing clients
  • Learn how to identify client interests and connect them with appropriate travel experiences
  • Support relationship-building and client engagement activities
  • Learn travel suppliers, destinations, and available travel resources
  • Complete destination, supplier, and industry training
  • Maintain organized records and follow up on communications as needed
  • Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, and experiences that may interest clients

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and willingness to develop new ideas
  • Comfortable using social media and online communication tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated
  • Comfortable learning new technology and online platforms
  • Interest in marketing, social media, relationship building, or client engagement
  • Genuine interest in travel and learning about destinations and experiences
  • Willingness to complete training and continue developing new skills
  • Previous marketing, social media, hospitality, sales, or client-facing experience is helpful but not required
