Secondarily, the position shares some duties with the department's administrative coordinator, who has primary responsibility for a range of financial and administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day operations of the department, faculty searches, and special events. • Support the faculty advising coordinator in managing the transition to the college's new student information system (Anthology).
  • Maintain the sections of the department's website that relate to course offerings, departmental policies, and advising, and assist in updating faculty pages, and posting department events and announcements.
  • Assist HSA faculty members in developing and refining Canvas LMS sites for their courses and in the preparation of other course material.
  • Assist HSA faculty members in special projects related to their teaching.
  • Work in partnership with the administrative coordinator to manage tasks related to faculty searches when the department has an open faculty position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree.
  • At least three years of administrative or related work experience within an academic setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
