Middle Market Private Equity Firm Seeks an Executive Assistant to join the team

The individual must have a strong commitment to their job with an ability and willingness to take initiative and to adapt to change.

The individual will be involved in supporting one senior investment professional in managing a complicated calendar (including extensive travel), answering phones, maintaining contacts, preparing for meetings and calls, and supporting and managing family office services and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Calendar management for executives
  • Aid executive in preparing for meetings
  • Responding to emails and document requests on behalf of executives
  • Draft slides, meeting notes and documents for executives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an Assistant in a family office, private equity fund, hedge fund, or other professional services firm environment.

Ability to professionally interface with senior level executives.

  • Ability to manage basic bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work discretely with highly confidential and personal information.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional, energetic, happy disposition, earnest, hard-working, works well with others.
  • Coordination with internal team members.
  • Highly organized and accountable for delegated tasks and ability to coordinate workflow, work to and meet
