The Administrative Assistant helps those seeking care through Southeast Christian Church and provides support to the Care Ministry Team.
This person will assist with the management and coordination of day-to-day operations, Staff Care and ministry events.
Essential Functions :
- Intake calls and emails with case management system and connect individuals with care
- Administrative Assistance, primarily to Care Associates and the Encounter Ministry
- Facilitate Staff Care initiative (EAP), offering guidance and referrals
- Process invoices and maintain records related to Staff Care and Care benevolence
- Assist with Care Trainings
- Supervise some Care Ministry volunteers
- Coordinate Care Team meetings, including agendas and action steps
- Procure rooms, supplies, and / or meals for Care Ministry events and groups
- Assist with Men’s and Women’s Mentors
- Partner with Creative Arts and use Social Media to promote Care events
- Update website and ROCK with volunteer information.

Required Education, Experience, and Membership
- High School diploma required
- Experience in Administrative Assistant / Customer / Client Service; 3+ years preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and ROCK
- Engaged member or willing to become one of Southeast Christian Church who supports the Statement of Faith and submits to the leadership established by the church
