JOB DESCRIPTION
The Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering a professional, results-driven Personal Training experience that helps members establish goals, build consistency, achieve measurable progress, and remain engaged in their fitness journey. Personal Trainers are more than session providers: they develop meaningful client relationships, deliver high-quality coaching, create individualized training programs, and maintain the accountability necessary to help clients achieve long-term results. The Personal Trainer works under the direction of the Personal Training Director and is accountable for personal training capacity, client enrollment and conversion, client retention, and personal revenue growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The following are essential functions of this position. Essential functions are the fundamental duties of the position that the Company considers necessary to the role, performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This list is representative and not exhaustive.

Client Delivery & Coaching
•Deliver professional, engaging, results-driven Personal Training sessions consistent with Company programming standards.
•Create individualized training programs designed around each client’s goals, abilities, history, and limitations.
•Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust programming as client needs and goals evolve.
•Maintain consistent communication and accountability with clients inside and outside of scheduled sessions.
•Conduct scheduled monthly results reviews with each client consistent with Company standards.

Client Acquisition & Enrollment
•Conduct CrunchONE Kickoff sessions and convert qualifying sessions into Fixed Recurring Personal Training agreements.
•Participate in Company-approved consultations, Training Days, assessments, and other opportunities to connect members with Personal Training.
•Prospect on the training floor and build relationships with members to grow a personal client base.
•Generate referrals from existing clients.

Client Retention & Results
•Maintain personal client retention and client lifespan performance against Company targets.
•Proactively identify and re-engage at-risk clients, including clients who are past due, not logging nutrition or programming, or not scheduled to train.
•Ensure clients receive proper documentation, including client folders and accurately logged program and meal-plan records, in accordance with Company standards.

Retail & Supplementation
•Support client results through Company-approved retail and supplementation programs (e.g., dotFIT, PES/PE Science) in accordance with Company-established targets.

Compliance, Systems & Records

•Accurately record all hours worked, sessions, and events in Workday and Company-designated systems, and take all required meal and rest periods.
•Maintain all required certifications and qualifications, including current CPR and AED certification and applicable NASM or other Company-approved certifications, and keep credentials current in Company systems (e.g., ClubConnect).
•Complete all required onboarding and ongoing coursework through Company-designated platforms (e.g., MindTickle, ClubConnect).
•Follow Company policy on client payment types and billing practices, and promptly report suspected falsification of records, theft, or other loss-prevention concerns.
•Support and maintain Company cleanliness and facility standards within Personal Training areas.
•Perform additional duties as assigned by the Company based on business needs.

OTHER DUTIES
This Job Description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with the position. The Company reserves the right to assign additional duties and responsibilities based on business needs.
Core Competencies

Success in this position depends on the following core competencies, in addition to the essential duties described above:
•Coaching Excellence — delivers professional, engaging, results-driven training in every session.
•Client Focus & Relationship Building — builds trust and understands what motivates each individual client.
•Consistency & Reliability — maintains a dependable schedule, professional presence, and accurate documentation.
•Accountability & Follow-Through — owns personal results and follows up with clients without prompting.

•Professional Development — maintains credentials and continuously improves coaching and communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications
•Prior Personal Training or coaching experience preferred; entry-level candidates with a current qualifying certification will be considered.
