Solutions Consultant

Saratech is the industry leading provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, engineering and consulting services and manufacturing hardware. The Saratech team helps customers optimize their engineering and manufacturing processes by providing extensive product development expertise and technologies. Saratech's goal is to help customers succeed by building long-term and resilient relationships. Saratech offers Siemens PLM CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM software solutions and a full array of 3D printers from HP, Markforged, BigRep, for both prototyping and production.

Saratech is seeking a Solutions Consultant with B2B sales experience. This is a full-time position located in southern California, Arizona, Colorado. Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications, experience, and abilities:

$42,000 - $80,000 Base, Uncapped Commissions

A proven track record of Consultative Sales success. We are looking for a sales consultant with experience partnering with customers -- not a transactional sales rep.

Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B technology or software sales.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to engage in technical discussions related to engineering and manufacturing.

Proficiency in Salesforce and CRM tools.

A proactive, consultative approach to understanding customer challenges and aligning them with Saratech's solutions.

Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.

Leverage existing client relationships to grow Saratech and build the pipeline in, and drive pursuit of, the full Saratech portfolio.

In-depth knowledge of client's business, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure.

Conduct selling efforts as needed.

Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.

Understand and interpret technical requirements, engineering workflows, and manufacturing processes to align solutions with client needs.

Drive targeted outreach campaigns to new and existing accounts, positioning Saratech's Siemens software solutions and services.

Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and web, initiating meaningful conversations to uncover opportunities.

Ensure client success by delivering solutions that optimize engineering and manufacturing operations.

Collaborate with marketing, support, community management, internal systems, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings.

Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, and business and technology partnerships, and others as needed.

Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.

Develops and maintains knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partners.

Must be willing to travel in territory

Complies with all organizational policies and procedures

Maintains strict confidentiality of all customer and/or employee information to assure customer and/or employee rights are protected

Adheres to policies regarding notification of absence and PTO requests

Attends all mandatory management and staff meetings

Represents the organization in a respectful and professional manner

Attend and comply with annual health, safety, training and education requirements

Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean

Physical demands:

Paid Holidays: All full-time employees will receive 8 paid holidays per year. Full-time non-exempt employees receive an extra floater holiday per year.

Paid Sick time: All full-time employees will receive 32 sick hours per year. Part time employees will receive 24 hours or minimum sick time required by the state.
