Job description

Senior Consumer Loan Processor Associate

You know what it takes to get a HELOC to the closing table. You've navigated title challenges, worked through complex conditions, balanced competing priorities, and found solutions when transactions seemed headed for delay. You're confident in your ability to manage the process, build strong relationships, and deliver results. Now you're looking for a place where that experience is trusted and valued. As our Senior Consumer Loan Processor Associate, you'll play a key role in our Home Equity operation, taking ownership of a diverse pipeline from application through funding. You'll use your judgment to identify risks, resolve obstacles, and keep loans moving efficiently toward closing. Working closely with underwriters, branch teams, title companies, and borrowers, you'll serve as a central partner throughout the lending process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balances volume with quality, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely results and an exceptional borrower experience. You'll join a collaborative team where your contributions matter and your ideas are welcomed. Beyond managing your pipeline, you'll have opportunities to improve processes, share knowledge, and help drive the continued success of our Home Equity team. If you're looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact while working alongside people who support one another's success, we'd love to meet you.

Please note: This position is in-office at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.

  • Review and manage underwriting conditions.
  • Analyze title, insurance and collateral documentation.
  • Drive the loan from application through closing and funding.
  • Perform quality control reviews and ensure policy compliance.

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in loan processing or equivalent related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to independently manage a pipeline.
  • Strong Title and Lien Review knowledge.
