Job title : Java Backend Developer Phoenix AZ Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Duration : Fulltime
Experience : 5–8 years of hands-on experience in backend technologies, including Java Spring Boot, Node.js, and microservices architecture.
Responsibilities & Requirements :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot and Node.js (Express.js / NestJS).
- Architect and optimize database solutions for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems to ensure performance and data integrity.
- Implement robust security practices, including authentication, authorization, and secure data handling across services.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless development and delivery workflows.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and best engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize backend services for stability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentorship, sharing best practices and guiding junior team members toward high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions, working as a team player with strong communication skills in a Phoenix-based collaborative environment.
