Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our strategic and operational initiatives. You will be responsible for creating data reports, conducting performance analysis, and providing insights to drive decision-making and efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics. Analyze historical and current data to identify trends and insights. Provide in-depth analysis of performance data to support strategic decisions.
• Benchmarking and Industry Analysis: Research industry standards and benchmarks. Compare company performance against industry metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Cost and Performance Analysis: Analyze performance data by various segments such as cost elements, labor, and project types. Compare past performance with forecasts to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and track key performance indicators. Implement systems to automate data updates and ensure accuracy.

This is a hybrid remote & on-site role in San Ramon, CA or Oakland, CA

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years related experience
• 4+ years' experience developing Power Apps
• 4+ years' experience with SQL, Python, R, HTML
• Experience coding
• Experience with Metric Dashboarding

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within construction, energy, utilities, engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), consulting or related space
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.

This position pays between $100,000 to $150,000 annually and is an exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
