Program Assistant
Westhab seeks a program assistant to support the operation of the Emergency Housing Apartment program (EHAP).
Duties and responsibilities include managing, tracking, and reporting facility census; ensuring accessibility to program staff; maintaining demographic and other needed information regarding residents; greeting all residents and visitors; maintaining accurate records; ensuring all correspondence is handled appropriately; assisting with ordering office supplies; providing administrative support; coordinating donation deliveries; performing administrative duties; handling phones, faxes, copies, scans, and reservations for meeting rooms; updating office bulletin boards with employment/training opportunities and apartment listings on a weekly basis; and other duties as assigned.
Experience, education, and special requirements include an associates degree preferred and at least two years' experience in customer service or clerical related position. Must have strong word processing skills; ability to learn new databases with ease; excellent oral and written communication; pleasant disposition; good customer service skills. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
