Position Summary :

Works in connection with multiple team leaders that include Plant Manager, Human Resources, Supply, Production and Accounting.

To provide our team members and customers with an effective, timely and professional Surlean Foods experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets customers and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Helps maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our internal / external customers.
  • Work in compliance with our company policy as outlined in Surlean Foods employee handbook.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, scheduling and conducting interviews, assists with the onboarding process of new hires.
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees, creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities,
  • Work closely with management to coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Assist management with preparing and administering appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances.
  • Facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture.
  • Build trust and relationships with all team members, assist and support with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or one to two years' experience in customer service.

Bilingual - English and Spanish is required.
