Job Description
Alaska Directional, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our Project Managers in Palmer, Alaska.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth project operations.

Responsibilities :
- Administrative Support : Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Managers, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence
- Document Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project reports.
Ensure proper filing and organization of documents both in physical and digital formats
Communication : Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Facilitate effective communication between project team members and ensure timely dissemination of information.
- Data Entry and Reporting : Assist in data entry tasks and generate reports as required by the Project Managers. Compile and analyze project data to support decision-making processes.
- ravel Arrangements : Coordinate travel arrangements for project team members, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Procurement Support : Assist in procurement activities by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
- Office Management : Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office space.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks : Support the Project Manager with various ad-hoc tasks as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist with diverse responsibilities.
Requirements
Requirements Include :
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and office management practices is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to occasionally travel for project-related activities.
Hours : 40 hours / week
Compensation : $ Hour DOE
