With offices in Cherry Hill and Hoboken, NJ, as well as Center City in Philadelphia, PA, Malamut Law has aggressively represented clients since its founding in 2001.

The firm’s areas of practice include Government & Regulatory Affairs, Employment Law, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Family Law.

Malamut Law is seeking a part-time, bi-lingual Legal Assistant / Administrative Assistant in our Cherry Hill, NJ office to support attorneys in our law office.

The successful candidate will be able to fluently speak both English and Spanish and be available for a 20 30 hour work week. (exact schedule TBD)

Requirements :

  • Provide administrative support to one or more attorneys.
  • Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, and colleagues.
  • Produce and file various legal documents.
  • Use the firm’s case management software system.
  • Answer phone calls, take notes / messages and redirect calls when appropriate.
  • Maintain and update case contact details.
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping calendars and providing timely reminders.
  • Assist with phones and reception on occasion.
  • Duties as assigned.

Skills :

  • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology and office equipment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient with maintaining a calendar and tasks.
  • Ability to schedule depositions.
  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and writing skills (English and Spanish)
  • Outstanding time-management and typing skills.
  • Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people.
