Job Title: Production & Supply Chain Inventory CoordinatorJob DescriptionThis role oversees inventory management, production planning, logistics, and cross-functional coordination in a growing manufacturing environment. You act as the operational hub between manufacturing, R&D, and clinical teams, ensuring materials are available, production schedules run smoothly, and products are delivered on time. You work both in an office and on the production floor, balancing planning and hands-on support in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities- Manage inventory levels of raw materials, production components, packaging supplies, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate incoming domestic and international shipments, including receiving activities, to maintain accurate inventory and material availability for production schedules.
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on forecasted demand, customer orders, and operational priorities.
- Collaborate closely with production operators to coordinate activities across manufacturing processes and ensure efficient workflow execution.
- Stage and allocate materials to support production runs for both commercial and developmental products.
- Support pilot runs, product launches, and process validation activities in partnership with manufacturing and R&D teams.
- Step into hands-on production tasks during high-volume periods or when critical production deadlines require additional support.
- Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate domestic and international shipments, including customs paperwork when required.
- Manage outbound logistics and ensure products, samples, and testing kits are accurately packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
- Serve as a primary liaison between manufacturing, clinical, quality, and research teams to align on production timelines, material requirements, and priorities.
- Maintain accurate inventory, production, and shipment records using company systems and tools.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement in inventory control, production planning, and logistics workflows.
- Perform cycle counts and other inventory control activities to ensure data accuracy and stock integrity.
- Handle material movement, including shipping and receiving, using appropriate material handling practices and tools.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, production planning, manufacturing operations, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing inventory levels, production schedules, and logistics activities simultaneously.
- Strong background in inventory control, including cycle counts, warehouse inventory management, and material handling.
- Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes, including domestic and international shipments.
- Proficiency with ERP, inventory management, or business operating systems.
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with digital tools and data.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with manufacturing, R&D, clinical, and quality teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving operational issues.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Physical ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Comfort working on your feet, including standing and walking throughout warehouse and production environments for extended periods.
- Ability to safely handle inventory, packaging materials, and production supplies as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, food production, medical device, biotech, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Experience with international shipping, import/export documentation, or customs processes is a plus.
- background in roles such as Production Planning & Inventory Coordinator, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Coordinator, Production Control Coordinator, or Materials & Logistics Coordinator.
- Experience using RF scanners or similar warehouse and inventory technologies.
- Exposure to bioprocessing, lab-adjacent operations, or highly structured production environments is beneficial.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
