  • About The Job

A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Portfolio Manager, you will be at the fore-front of orchestrating and optimizing a portfolio of large-scale, multi-year technical transformation engagements that drive significant value and improve constituent experience. You will require strategic program and portfolio oversight, thought leadership, and technical goals to drive the deployment of innovative Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions and Mandiant consulting engagements. You will lead large initiatives and collaborate extensively with cross-functional Google executives, sales teams, technical leaders (Architects / Engineers / Consultants), and executive client stakeholders (CTOs / CIOs / CISOs). In this role, you will grow in a decentralized environment, and navigate business development, program delivery, and executive stakeholder management.

Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and successful delivery of a portfolio of large, multi-year technical transformation engagements for Google's strategic public sector customers in the central region, overseeing execution across multiple program teams and partners.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Go-to-Market team, leading the full end-to-end business cycle for complex professional services engagements in the central region.
  • Provide thought leadership, consulting, and technical goal for customer engagements, collaborating with Google's cross-functional executives and key technical leaders to oversee solution planning and deployment.
  • Identify customer challenges and position Google Cloud to include Mandiant security solutions to drive account growth.
  • Lead technical decision-making to ensure sound technical direction and excellence. Oversee Mandiant security engagements throughout the SLED Central region while supporting the greater SLED market as necessary.
  • Information collected and processed as part of your Google Careers profile, and any job applications you choose to submit is subject to Google's Applicant and Candidate Privacy Policy.
