PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for the performance of all JTAC Instructor/SME Training Specialist work for MilSup and MilTrain II JV on matters relating to the daily execution of the MQ-9 ATS contract.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Vocational or other post-high school training.
Training and Experience: Previously qualified JTAC with experience after 11 Sept 2001 or active-duty military, ANG or Reserve Duty before 11 Sept 2001 and actively supported the military in the JTAC role as a civilian. Experience operating military radios and air to ground operation equipment. Understanding of Theater Air Control Systems (TACS) and Army Ground Systems (AGS).
General Skills: Must be able to follow the directions of the team lead to aid in scenario execution. Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills, oral communication skills, project management skills, ability to schedule workflow, prioritize, delegate, meet deadlines, and be multi-task oriented. Must have a valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with normal government software and hardware.
Security Clearance: Current security clearance of Secret/Top Secret eligible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct procedurally correct Close Air Support (CAS) missions in accordance with JP 3-09.3, JFIRE and other related TTP's
- Operate motor vehicles
- Operate military radios and other military equipment to communicate with aircrews
- Participate in OPFOR events
- Role play agencies and assets as required
- Participate in CAS, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and other events as required
- Perform console operator duties as required
