Join our Team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco, CA as a Physician – Pathologist (Fee Basis)!
Department of Pathology of the San Francisco VA Medical Center is seeking outstanding candidates for a fee-basis temporary Anatomic Pathologist position.
Candidates must hold U.S. citizenship, have a MD degree, a valid California (or other State) Medical License, and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology.
Service responsibilities will be primarily in surgical pathology and cytopathology. The ideal candidate must exhibit excellent character, professionalism, organization, and communication skills. Clinical duties will include sign-out responsibilities in surgical pathology, cytopathology including GYN, Non-GYN, and FNA specimens, frozen section coverage, FNA clinic and rapid on-site assessments, night and weekend call, and presentation at tumor boards and interdepartmental conferences.
Travel expenses associated with relocation or interview are not reimbursed.
