Job description
A company is looking for a Coding Support Specialist. Key Responsibilities Conduct data analysis, process improvement, and organizational development Support leadership initiatives and enhance communication across departments related to revenue cycle policies and practices Assist in planning and executing analytical and operational tasks for revenue cycle projects Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Professional coder certification from AHIMA and / or AAPC (CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT) required 3+ years of facility / hospital coding experience Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG systems for hospital coding Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data entry, etc.)
