The successful candidate will provide sophisticated legal counsel to clients in the software, hardware, and data science sectors, focusing on patent prosecution and intellectual property strategy. This role will involve working with leading tech companies to protect innovations and navigate complex patent issues.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications in the area of computer science and related technologies.
- Conduct patentability assessments and provide strategic advice to clients regarding patent rights.
- Assist clients with IP litigation and enforcement matters as needed.
- Collaborate with inventors to collect and analyze technical information for patent applications.
- Stay current with developments in patent law and technology trends to provide informed counsel.
- Participate in client meetings, provide training on IP issues, and represent clients in front of the USPTO.
