At Goodwill of Western New York, we believe in the power of work to change lives. As a Workforce Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role behind the scenes helping ensure our Goodskills Career Builder program runs smoothly and supports individuals on their path to meaningful employment.

If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others succeed, this is an opportunity to make a real impact every day.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll support the daily operations of a dynamic workforce development program by:

  • Coordinating schedules, calendars, and program logistics
  • Preparing materials for orientations, trainings, and graduation events
  • Maintaining accurate participant records and program documentation
  • Entering and managing data in program systems and tracking tools
  • Communicating with participants, graduates, and partners
  • Supporting staff with administrative tasks that keep the program running efficiently

You will be a critical part of the team - ensuring everything is organized, accurate, and on time.

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Comfort working with data, systems, and documentation
  • A commitment to handling confidential information with care

Bonus if you have: experience with databases or case management systems.
