The Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Temporary Full-Time Bartender to join our talented team! This is a temporary full-time assignment starting at 3 months with the possibility of extension based on the business needs of the hotel. We invite you to join Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero. Our work environment pairs a strong commitment to excellent service and authentic experiences with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. We are looking for individuals with not only the right skills but also the right attitude for the role!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Deliver attentive and engaging service to guests seated at the bar and lounge areas.
• Provide recommendations and share knowledge of beverages, ingredients, and menu offerings.
• Accurately enter orders and process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions using the POS system.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and preparation of garnishes and beverage components.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of two years of bartending experience or related hospitality experience.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required food handling and alcohol service certifications.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
• Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
